Serialsomething received this tattoo on her forearm as a representation of keeping things in perspective. She provided the idea and her tattoo artist worked on the design. She says the design “represents how small humans are in the vastness of nature and [her] closeness with [her] dog.” She feels more confident now, no longer fearing having a very visible tattoo or feeling pressure to provide explanations about it. She is more than willing to share the meaning with people she is close with. She shares, “This tattoo is not only about reconciling my place in the world and my insignificance despite deep relationships with creatures around us and nature. It is also about not being afraid of being myself and displaying my body art.”
